I think that being a self-directed learner is doing things on your "own" is a way i guess and doing things at your on pace. Why I said "own" is because your not compelty independent, because if you need help you could go to an advisor, your traid, your friends or your family. Being self-directed learner is a person who can learn and do assiments on thier own. I think that blogging is self-directed because we are doing our blogging on our own and we can write about the assiment giving.

Great point, Maya. Your connection to this class makes sense, but don't forget that the goal is for you to become a blogger. Ideally, that is the ultimate self-direction goal for this class. Do you agree?
